Advanced Disposal was founded in Jenison, Michigan, by Dave and Shelly Schimmel. With five boys at home and a strong work ethic, they built the company through long hours, dependable service, and a commitment to doing right by every customer.
Their son Mitchell joined the business in his twenties and now leads daily operations. Today the company has grown to include a fleet of 20 trucks and more than 800 containers ranging from 10-yard residential dumpsters to 40-yard construction containers and commercial compactors.
